Vintage appearance of the classic Kluson tuners, but with the cutting edge functionality of the TonePro...well, that's the official line. The bottom line...these are a deadly accurate tuner. No wiggle at all (we tried). Zero. Tune up, tune down...you can hear the slightest adjustment (assuming your nut isn't sticking). It sounds subjective, but you can "feel" the difference in a high quality tuner..

Original Grover Locking Tuners

THIS is a smart, simple system for a locking tuner, makes changing strings VERY fast, and also makes your old strings VERY easy to remove. Simply insert the string through the string hole, pull to tension by hand and begin tuning. As you start to tune, only the locking cam in the string post turns. Once the string is locked, the string post begins to turn allowing you to bring the string to pitch. In less than one revolution of the string post, you will be in tune, to stay in tune.

Levi OEM Extras: Grover (actual) & Kluson Type (not Kluson)
Our Levi Electric Guitars come stock from the factory with either standard chrome Grover tuners, or a chrome or gold Kluson style (NOT Kluson) similar in appearance the the actual Kluson tuners. When we upgrade our guitars to Kluson Tone Pro or Locking Grover, we have these "left-overs" - new, but not in retail packaging. The Kluson type are reasonable quality, although not as "tight" or precise as the actual Kluson TonePro. The Grovers are, well, Grovers!
